House of Light Serves Nine Families


House of Light has wrapped up its first giving season before taking a summer break. We gave away 18 beds and other home furnishings to nine families, including 31 people (23 of whom are children).

“We are all moms,†says HOL President Brandy Pfalmer. “This has been our busiest give away season ever, and it is time to regroup by replenishing our furniture supply and taking a moment to spend time with our families. We will start back up in August.â€

“Every member of House of Light is a volunteer,†says Pfalmer. “HOL wouldn’t exist without them, and I couldn’t be more grateful for all their hard work.â€

House of Light has furnished 225 homes since it began six years ago, serving 445 individuals.
